CHOA Vendor Update

Dear Homeowner,

 

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the shelter-in-place order, we wanted to make everyone aware of all CHOA vendors who are still servicing the community, along with the frequency and typical functions and duties.

 

CURRENT AS OF APRIL 9TH, 2020

 

Landscape Care Co (on-site)

The HOA’s landscaper is continuing to perform landscape maintenance services in and around the common areas, including mowing and edging the lawns near the walkways, and emptying the common area trash bins (including all dog waste and refilling the dog waste bags). At the recommendation of the California Landscapers Contractors Association, not continuing to mow the lawns could increase the risk of infestation, and create a breeding ground for rats, mice, and snakes. Landscape Care Co is also making sure there are no tripping hazards or shrubs that might extend into walkways to create a safety issue. This vendor also assists with trash removal; without this, the Association could be exposed to additional health and sanitary risks. The Board has been assured that the crews are following all safe distancing guidelines while on site performing any work.

 

This vendor is currently on site twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

 

Clark Pest Control (on-site)

Clark is currently on site once a month to service the exteriors of the preschool, clubhouse, and Business Office, as well as all three pools for insects, spiders, ants, rats, and mice.

 

Gring Pest Control (on-site)

Gring is on site once or twice per month for gopher abatement throughout the common area landscaping and in the dog park.

 

Aqua Pool (on-site)

Aqua Pool will continue servicing the pools and making sure that the chemical balance is correct and everything is working properly. If this service was not happening, the pools would turn green and it could be costly to get everything back up to speed.

 

They are on site once per week, and only visit the three pools.

 

First Security Services (on-site)

The HOA’s security vendor patrols the community in the evenings several times per night. We have instructed them to keep an eye on the common area facilities, especially now that they have been closed and are not being actively sanitized.

 

Common Interest Management (remote)

Your General Manager is still working normal business hours, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, but is currently working remotely. All contact information is still the same – your GM can be reached by email at businessoffice@walnutcountry.com or by phone at 925-687-9961.
