July 22, 2017 – Work has begun on a newly designed West Entrance landscape. Turf has already been removed and new plants will be installed in the coming days – it will look great!
You may have noticed some brown areas in the Greenbelt recently. A few things have contributed to these select spots:
– Recent string of very hot summertime temperatures
– Sprinklers for the central portion of the Greenbelt rely on the central well and its auxiliary pumps. There is only so much pressure available to run the many zones, and with extremely hot weather it is not enough.
– We will be watering during the day in specific areas to help.
CHOA will continue to optimize water use throughout the community during these tough summer months.
