COVID-19 CHOA Facility Updates
INFORMATION CURRENT AS OF 5/14
Because of how quickly the State and County are modifying the shelter-in-place orders and facility requirements, we have created this page listing all updated information for COVID and its impact on CHOA’s facilities so everything is in one place.
MAIN POOL – OPEN (REDUCED HOURS)

TENNIS COURTS (UPPER & LOWER) – OPEN
All 8 tennis courts are open to residents from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week. Residents utilizing the tennis courts are expected to follow the county’s social distancing requirements.
DOG PARK – OPEN
The dog park is open for business, but please ensure that the county’s guidelines are adhered to:
- An individual must not enter a dog park if it is not possible at that time, within the park, to easily maintain at least six feet of separation from all other persons
- Face coverings must be work at all times
clubhouse/GYM – CLOSED
The Clubhouse and and gym is closed at this time, per the County’s orders. It is likely that this will be the last facility to reopen.
Business office – OPEN BUT NO WALK-INS
The Business Office is closed to walk-in traffic, and the GM is on-site part time. Owners who need replacement keys or fobs can contact the GM and arrange for a time to pick them up. Regular business hours have not changed, and the GM can be contacted between 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday.
playgrounds – OPEN
Due to the recent Regional Stay Home Order and Contra Costa County’s decision to implement the order as soon as possible, all CHOA playgrounds will need to close effective December 6th at 10pm.
