We were recently made aware of an issue that caused a shipping delay for the monthly HOA billing statements and as a result August HOA billing statements have not yet been mailed out to homeowners. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay!
Please note that this doesn’t impact any homeowners who are on automatic or recurring payments of any kind.
These statements are printed and mailed out by a third-party and they experienced an error during the mailing process. We do not yet have an exact ETA, but expect you should receive your statement within the next 10 business days.
The monthly HOA assessments are “due” on the 1st of the month and considered late if no payment is received by the 30th of that same month, meaning no late fees will be incurred this month if your payment is received by August 30th.
Note that you do not need to include the tear-off portion of the HOA statement in the envelope if you are paying by check, so you do not need to wait until you get your statement to make a payment.
You can simply put the check in the mail and send it straight to the bank; just make sure the check references your CHOA address or HOA account number on it somewhere.
Please mail your checks directly to the HOA’s bank:
Cowell Homeowners Association, Inc.
c/o Common Interest Management Services
PO Box 45480
San Francisco, CA 94145
All checks should be made out to Cowell Homeowners Association, Inc.
If you would like to obtain a digital copy of your statement, you can download it from the HOA portal online at https://portal.commoninterest.com. Alternatively, the General Manager can email you a PDF directly if you don’t have access to the Portal. Reach out to us at businessoffice@walnutcountry.com and we’ll send it your way!
There are also several other options for making a one-time payment online using either the HOA Portal linked above, or by paying through the HOA’s bank directly here:
https://www.hoabankservices.com/OnlinePayments/payment
No fees are charged if you pay through the HOA’s bank using a checking account.
Once again, our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this delay. If you need any further assistance, please contact the GM at 925-687-9861.
