Concord Turkey Trot – Morning of 11/28

The City of Concord’s annual 5k Turkey Trot will take place on the morning of November 28^th from 7:30am to 9am. This is an annual charity 5k run/ walk put on by the city that benefits Loves and fishes of Contra Costa, part of which runs through some CHOA streets and common areas.

Several streets within CHOA will be impacted during the event. The following streets may be partially or fully closed from 7:30am to 9am on November 28^th:

Turtle Creek Blvd from Ayers Road to Rising Dawn Lane
Rising Dawn Lane to North Larwin
North Larwin to the end of Black Walnut Ct
Sweet Shrub Ct from the cul-de-sac to South Larwin
South Larwin from Sweet Shrub Ct to Ayers Rd
Ayers Rd from Kenneth Blvd to Turtle Creek Blvd

Trash pickup on or near the course on 11/28 by MDRR will take place either very early in the morning, or shortly after the event.

Flaggers and Concord Police officers will be on course at the selected locations to assist with local pedestrian and vehicular traffic to maintain limited access to surrounding homes. Architectural Committee Meeting

The CHOA Architectural Committee meets the third Thursday every month at 6:00p. All homeowners are welcome to attend. Currently meetings are held via Zoom - contact the Business Office if you would like the meeting info.

Board of Directors Meeting

January 23, 20257:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The CHOA Board of Directors meets the fourth Thursday every month, unless otherwise noted at the Business Office. Every effort will be made to post a meeting date change on this website as well.

An agenda is posted outside of the Office at least four days prior to the meeting and is often available online from this website. All homeowners are welcome to attend.
