Pickleball Membership Survey

Last month the Board discussed ongoing concerns related to Pickleball sound, mostly a result of the proximity of the courts to nearby homes. You have likely seen in the news that many properties are dealing with noise issues from pickleball courts, with some, such as Hidden Valley Courts in Martinez, totally shutting down.

Coming out of last month’s meeting, the Board approved conducting a brief survey of the membership regarding pickleball play and sound mitigation feedback/suggestions. This will help give us a better understanding of how many residents are playing, the most frequent times, as well as thoughts on reasonable steps the Board can take to help mitigate any impactful sounds/noise from pickleball play.
