East Pool Closed 10/13

On Friday our pool technician discovered a problem with the pump for the East Pool and we had to close the pool for troubleshooting. Unfortunately the pump needs to be replaced and it will take at least a week to source the new pump and install it.

Given this, we will be officially shutting off the East Pool heater for the 2026 swim season today.

Until the pump has been repaired, we are required to lock the gate to the East Pool to prevent entry, even to those just wanting to use the restroom.

Without a working pump, the pool is not fit for public swimming, and because our pools are considered “public pools” we cannot let anyone into the pool area until it is back up and running, since the pool is not safe for swimming.

Once the pump is replaced and back up and running we will unlock the gate so residents can use the bathrooms there. The pool will be swimmable at that time – just very cold!
