Pay HOA Assessments

Several methods are available to homeowners for making assessment payments.

As of January 2022, the monthly assessment is $107. Owners are welcome to pre-pay their assessment. To do so, simply pay whatever amount you wish as a single payment. The system will treat this over payment as a credit and the remaining balance will be applied to next month’s assessments, until the credit has been depleted.

For detailed instructions for paying your assessments online, click here.

Make a One-Time Payment Online

To make a payment online, you will need to use Common Interest Management’s online portal, which can be accessed by clicking here.

If you have never used this system, you will need to create an account. All owners have been mailed a page with their account number and a portal registration key. You will need both of these numbers to create an account.

If you do not have this information, please email businessoffice@walnutcountry.com and request access to the Portal.

Please note, there is a $4.95 fee for making one-time payments online.

Setup Recurring Payments

Owners are also able to setup recurring payments through Common Interest Management’s online portal.

Click here to access the portal. Contact the Business Office if you need assistance creating an account or logging in. For step-by-step instructions to setup recurring payments, click here.

To setup recurring payments, click “Billing” on the left hand side, then “Credit Card”. On the next page, select “Make Payment”. This will take you to a new website where you can create a recurring payment with an amount and schedule you specify.

Please note, there is a $.50 fee for making recurring payments online. This payment method will also need to be updated by the homeowner manually if the assessment amount ever changes.

Mail a Physical Check

You can always mail a physical check to make a one-time payment. Be sure to make the payment out to Cowell Homeowners Association, not the management company! You will also need to include your 8 digit Account number, which should be on your statement. If you need your Account Number, please contact accounting@commoninterest.com or call 925-743-3080 to speak with a Customer Service Representative.

Checks must be mailed to the following address, and cannot be dropped off to the Business Office or they will be returned:

Cowell Homeowners Association, Inc.

c/o Pacific Western Bank

PO Box 45480

San Francisco, CA 94145

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Common Interest’s accounting department at accounting@commoninterest.com or by phone at 925-743-3080.
