Get ready to unleash your creativity! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this is your chance to relax, release your creativity, and mingle with neighbors. Each month brings a fresh new theme.

THIS MONTH’S THEME…

Learn how to make a soy wax candle and customize it with your choice of color, scent and embellishments. Or use beeswax sheets to roll up and design a beautiful candle then add a flower or ribbon for the finishing touch!

What is provided? All the supplies you’ll need plus nibbles and refreshments.

  • Afternoon of July 10, Wednesday, 12:30pm to 2pm
Details:
  • Who: Adults, teens, adults with children
  • Price: $25 per class or $30 for adult + child (includes all supplies + tea)
  • Payment: Cash or Venmo at the door
  • Walk-ins are welcome based on space and supplies
  • Hosted by: Chelsea Murray Faraclas, a longtime resident and creativity expert!

  • First 15 minutes- Check in, find a table to get settled at and have a cup of tea while meeting your neighbor and building our community
  • Welcome and overview of project options and ideas for inspiration

  • Share out and wrap up
Supplies:

The necessary supplies will be provided but I encourage you to bring whatever you have at home that inspires you.

Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome while space and supplies permit.


Meet instructor Chelsea Murray Faraclas

 

Chelsea grew up here in Walnut Country and now lives with her husband and two young sons in the neighborhood. She has a degree in Art History with minors in Studio Art and Italian. Chelsea has two decades of experience working at world-class museums like the Exploratorium, de Young and Legion of Honor, and the Bay Area Discovery Museum. She currently runs her own company, Bring Creativity Home where she works with residents to design, organize and optimize home spaces to promote creativity.

Drawing from her roles as an artist, entrepreneur, and mother of two, Chelsea uniquely understands the balance between practical and aspirational needs. Whether you seek to redefine your creative sanctuary or foster your child’s imaginative growth and self-assurance, Chelsea is here to guide you through every step of the transformation journey.
