South Slope Water Well Tank “Leaking”

August 7, 2017 – The South Slope water well tank has been dry recently due to a malfunctioning pump, but is now filling up with water.

When the wooden tank boards are dry they shrink. And when the tank fills with water, water escapes between the boards until the boards absorb water and expand. This is a natural process. The tank should self-seal shortly.
